ESD - New York Tourism Campaign

In 2011, over 50 million tourists poured into the 300 square miles that constitute New York City. The other 54,200 square miles that make up the rest of the state saw far fewer visitors, though.

Empire State Development (ESD), New York State's chief economic development agency, wants to change that, reminding visitors to New York City that there's an entire state to be enjoyed as well.

In just 10 days, Evan and I went from being briefed on the project to having a subway car wrapped and covered by The Times.

Had the honour of designing the MTA Metrocards that were actually produced during the campaign period.
